As a contemporary artist practising in Scotland, I seek to explore the tensions between collective cultural identity and personal expression and attempt to frame the effect that the environment and architecture have on the human experience. The result is a continuous body of emotionally arresting work, expressed with indelible modern clarity using charcoal on paper as the medium of choice.
