CHARCOAL DRAWINGS
My experience as a professional designer has led me travelling to many parts of the world which left an indelible impression on my psyche as artist and illustrator. Although I have acquired many creative skills, I still favour charcoal on paper as I find this to be an almost primeval creative experience. I explore dramatic landscapes with elemental skies, fierce naturalism with apposed architectural elements, executed with expressive line, powerful composition, laboured surfaces and restrained drama.
