In this project, Arria's Natural Language Generation (NLG) technology is used to build an on-prem application that delivers a report providing a post period-end review of Operating Expenses. The application transforms data supplied by the user into a report with tabular, textual and graphical elements. A user which is typically an SME, uploads data in the form of an Excel file and configure parameter values which affects the content of the report to be generated. The user can then read the report in HTML format within a web browser, and export it to Word.
The user-flow below illustrates the simple process as follows; creating a data file, drag-and-drop data into the app, set parameters and confirm, generate the report and export to Word.
